If you really stop to think about how many different songs you have heard in your life, you probably would lose count very quickly. From the time that we are very young, watching shows like Sesame Street, we are introduced to music and we probably can even sing those songs by heart. Of course, our musical taste tends to change as we get older but it doesn’t mean that we don’t still love some of the songs that we used to enjoy from our youth. For many of us, that song includes an old queen classic, “Bohemian Rhapsody”.
If you’ve been around for quite a while, then the first thing that you probably think when you hear “Bohemian Rhapsody” is Freddie Mercury. After all, he is the man who wrote the song and he was the front man for Queen, who made the song famous. Unfortunately, Freddie Mercury died a few years ago but it doesn’t mean that Queen stopped performing altogether. They’ve had a number of people singing for them over the years and most recently, it has been Adam Lambert. Many people who were even around when Freddie Mercury was performing now love the song and appreciate what Adam Lambert does when he performs it. Even diehard Queen fans from many years ago appreciate Adam Lambert and his talent as well.
Although Adam Lambert is the new addition to Queen, there are still some of the old standbys who made the band really famous years ago. Although Freddie was the man who most people thought about with Queen, the people behind him were also harmonizing in a way that made the band what they were.
When you watch this video from 2019, you will find that you are enjoying the song as if it was the first time that you heard it. It’s from the Global Citizen Festival in New York City and it is a video that any Queen fan is going to love.
