The Backstreet Boys Join Jimmy Fallon & The Roots To Perform ‘I Want It That Way’ With Classroom Instruments

There are plenty of music groups that come and go and not all of them are going to remain on the scene for a long time. In fact, some of them may come and go very quickly but that doesn’t mean they are going to disappear altogether. In fact, some of these groups may come and go and they leave a musical legacy that will last for decades. Some of these groups may be considered one hit wonders and I’m sure that we could name a few of those that we have enjoyed over the years. Even though they may only have one hit song, it is something that continues to be played for years and years.

Other groups may come and go because they move on to other things but when we look back on their accomplishments, we see they were not just a flash in the pan. One of those groups is the Backstreet Boys, one of the original “boy bands” that many of us remember from quite a few years ago. They had a number of hit songs and were a lot of fun to see in concert but they disappeared off of the scene for the most part. It doesn’t mean that they aren’t around any longer, they just don’t have the level of popularity that they did before and things certainly have changed in their appearances. In the clip that you see below, they were visiting the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and they did something that was absolutely phenomenal to see you.

Jimmy Fallon will sometimes get together with his band, The Roots, along with a musical celebrity and perform using only their voices and some classroom instruments. He managed to get the Backstreet Boys into such a session and watching them perform is absolutely amazing. We may not have seen them for some time but they still have the same level of talent as they did before.

It’s always interesting to watch these types of performances because you never quite know what to expect once they start. The Backstreet Boys didn’t disappoint and I could continue to watch this all day long. See it for yourself in the following video.
