When we first get married, there is a bit of a learning curve involved. We may think that we know our significant other but spending every day with them, as well as the nights, will cause us to question our first assumption. When we get older, we not only learn more about our significant other, we start to expect certain things when it comes to their behavior. The man in the joke below was having a bad day but there was one thing he could count on, he could count on his wife to keep the status quo.
After having one of the worst days of his life, a husband sends this text to his wife:
Honey, I got hit by a car outside of the office.
Tina brought me to the hospital. They have been taking tests and doing x-rays. The blow to my head is very strong, may be serious.
Also, I have 3 broken ribs, a broken arm, a compound fracture on my left leg and they may have to amputate the right foot.
After almost no delay, his phone buzzed and he saw that his wife had responded.
