The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon is always going to provide something interesting, to say the least. He has some of the best celebrities come onto the show so that he can pry into their lives and show us all a little something that we may not have known about them before. At times, he may have some of the celebrities on the show multiple times and if they have a particular talent, he is going to exploit it so that we can all enjoy the show even more. It’s a lot of fun, and we realize that he is doing it all for ratings but in the end, he is doing it for fun as well.
In the clip that you see below, he is playing a rather interesting game with some of the celebrities that are on the show that evening. Jimmy Fallon is sitting at a table with Matthew McConnaughhay and he is also sitting with Tarik Trotter, who is a band member of The Roots, that plays on the Tonight Show. As the three of them sit together and play True Confessions, it just continues to get more and more interesting. The game takes place when they confess a random fact and then interrogate each other to find out if they were telling the truth or not. They may have some time to think about these random facts in advance but even if they don’t, sometimes they could tell the truth and nobody would believe it.
Matthew McConnaughhay is a fantastic actor and he has been on a lot of great shows over the years. People continue to love his work but they also recognize that he can be a little off-base from time to time. That really shows through in this unique game show that he plays with Jimmy Fallon and the band member from The Roots.
I’m sure that everybody who tuned into the Tonight Show that evening was wondering what they were going to get into. Then again, how could you be disappointed when Matthew McConaughey is willing to play such a crazy game and he actually does a great job of it. Watch the clip for yourself below.
