There is something that I think all of us can appreciate about watching the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, and that’s the fact that we never quite know what to expect. It’s one thing if we tune into a show and they have the same thing week after week. It gives us a sense of familiarity and sometimes, that can be nice. It isn’t always what we want when we are watching a talkshow, however, because we want some variety and we want to learn about the celebrities, not just see the same thing played out every time we tune in. Perhaps that is why Jimmy Fallon is so popular, because he always has something interesting up his sleeve.
In the video that you see below, Jimmy Fallon is sitting with Seth MacFarlane and the two of them are having a rather interesting time as they play “Wheel of Impressions”. It’s similar to the Wheel of Musical Impressions that we have seen so often but typically, he plays this alternate form of the game when he is dealing with somebody who has no musical talent. It gives them the opportunity to have some fun while at the same time, taking advantage of some of their more natural talents. In this skit, they push the Impression Generator button and get a random celebrity and topic. They then need to impersonate the celebrity in that situation.
An example is that Seth has to impersonate Bobcat Goldthwait and then Jimmy Fallon has to do Pee-wee Herman. I think both of them do an excellent job, but it would be a lot of pressure if you were sitting in the seat.
This is a funny skit and it’s a great way to put yourself in a good mood if you are feeling a little stressed out. As you watch this video, you may just find that watching these videos of Jimmy Fallon are suitable for anytime of the day, not just late at night.
