Toddler Breaks The News About Her Boyfriend At Dinner But Dad’s Response Breaks The Internet

You’re bound to have a lot of life-changing events in your life, some really good and some for the bad. Something that we will likely remember until we are old is the time when we get our first boyfriend. It often happens when we were teenagers and it is a milestone that is certainly worth noting. Of course, we may have a ‘boyfriend’ earlier in life but it isn’t until we are teenagers that we typically go out on a real date and we can be quite nervous about it.

We will likely have a lot of questions to ask when that day arrives. What can we expect when we are on the date? Will we have to hold hands? What should we wear? That isn’t even to mention the possibility of a kiss, which is enough to drive most teenagers a little crazy.

Even before we are teenagers, we may have a crush from time to time and they can certainly live up to their name. Little children tend to go crazy over somebody, perhaps a singer or maybe a movie star that just seems to give them butterflies.

In some cases, it may be someone who is close to them, perhaps a little boy in their class who just moved into town. When they capture the heart of the toddler, it can be very sweet. This toddler decided that she was going to break the news to her dad about her new boyfriend and she waited till dinner time to do it. Unfortunately, it didn’t go well.

While they are sitting at the table, she pulled her hair on top of her head, put her fork down and scratched her nose. The conversation went like this:

“I got a boyfriend.”

“Oh no you do not.”

“Oh yes I do.”

“Oh no you don’t.”

“Oh yes I do.”

They went back and forth for a while and you could hear some giggling taking place. The father was asking his daughter the questions but she wouldn’t back down.

“That boyfriend better be talking to your daddy.”

She isn’t impressed with what he is asking. She doesn’t want to introduce him to her boyfriend.

What is it supposed to take place? Should they carve out a little bit of time during nap time or when a snack is being served?

“No no no!”

“Yes, he better.”

“No. He is my boyfriend.”

The father insists that he wants to meet her new boyfriend but she isn’t having any of it.

“He needs to come talk to me first. You tell him that.”

She puts her head down, puts her hand on her forehead and acts as if she just can’t stand the pressure. The father continues:

“You got it?”

You can’t really hear what she says next but she is essentially letting everybody know that it is her boyfriend. She even starts to get a little sassy and rambles on, somewhat unimpressed with how her father is acting.

I would have to say that the dad is in trouble if she is acting like this at such a young age.
