How To Clean A Reusable Face Mask The Right Way

There has always been a time when it was a good idea to wear a face mask. Often, it was either because we were in some type of medical setting or because we were doing construction work and needed to protect our respiratory system. Today, due to the coronavirus pandemic, protecting our respiratory system has taken on an entirely new meaning. In fact, it is important to wear a face mask at this point, any time you’re out in public. It isn’t always required in all areas of the world, but that doesn’t stop it from being a good idea to do it.

Unfortunately, facemasks are somewhat difficult to come by because the pandemic came up so quickly that there was a worldwide shortage. We may not have those professional respirators available at this time, but that doesn’t stop us from making our own facemasks and protecting ourselves with them. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention, and I would say that people have done a great job of inventing ways to make reusable fabric facemasks. It includes sewing and non-sewing options and some of them are not only usable, they are downright adorable!

More than likely, you already own at least one facemask and you may even own multiple facemasks. They can do a good job of protecting us from getting sick and protecting others from getting sick, if we happen to be a carrier of the coronavirus. At the same time, however, we would not want to use a contaminated facemask and run the risk of getting sick in an effort to keep ourselves well.

That may leave you wondering what you can do in order to continue to reuse your facemask, even if it may be contaminated. There are specific ways that you can wash and clean the facemask so that you can continue to use it to keep yourself safe for the long run. This is too important to do the wrong way. Follow the video below and you will be in good shape.
