Faith is an interesting thing. It’s also an individual thing that’s hard to explain to other people. The things that give us faith vary from person to person and we all have to find our own way and what works for us. Life is hard, and whatever anyone finds to give them comfort and sustain them through challenging times should be respected and honored. In 2018 on a Monday evening that was like any other Monday, a man named Danny Ferraro was driving with his wife, Carmen, along Highway 105 in Texas. The couple was traveling from Houston to Conroe, Texas when they spotted what they could only describe as a giant angel-like figure in the sky.
The figure was made of clouds and was just hovering up there in the sky, Danny explained. He added that they were out celebrating their one-month wedding anniversary, but their celebration was clouded by some family issues that they were actually on their way to deal with. When they were driving through Montgomery, they noticed something extraordinary in the sky over their car. The cloud was huge and positioned in such a way that it appeared to be right above the middle of the road that they were traveling on. The cloud unmistakably resembled an angel to the couple, and it had its wings outstretched.
Danny said that the formation was so distinctive that there was no way to mistake it for anything else. Taking out his phone, he quickly snapped a photo of the phenomenon. After Danny took a few photos, the cloud dissipated and broke apart as atmospheric conditions changed. When the cloud disappeared, the Texas skyline revealed a breathtaking view. Rays of sunshine beamed down through the clouds and further filled Danny and Carmen’s hearts with happiness and peace, they say. To Danny and Carmen, the incident symbolized something deep and meaningful. They both felt as if God was sending them a special message, and at that moment, their faith was restored.
Danny believes that the message he was meant to receive was that God would be with them always, regardless of the trials they may face in life. Because of what they saw that day, they stopped worrying about their family issues that had been weighing them down. When he shared the photo to Facebook, it quickly went viral.
