When many of us go to work in the morning, we don’t ever expect that something amazing is going to happen during the day. In fact, we usually consider it to be a good day if nothing out of the ordinary takes place. That is especially for those who deal with the public on a day by day basis, including those who work in a fast food restaurant. They never quite know what they are going to come up against and sometimes, it can be very unusual.
Travis Stattler works in a fast food restaurant and on this particular day, a little boy came up to the register. He had a request that was unusual and fortunately, the surveillance cameras were able to catch every minute of it. Not only does he get the attention of Travis, the video has gone viral and he is now gaining national attention and even some attention from around the world. When you see the footage for yourself, you will know why it has gone viral.
As we said before, you never know what is going to happen when you are at work that day. This cashier had quite a treat and he was even given a surprise that he will never forget. In part, it is because the surprise was awesome but it was also from the most unexpected of customers.
The little kid wanted to order some dessert but he was nervous and he just handed over all of his money. He was about two dollars short for the desert but Travis felt pity for the little one. He only had a few minutes to go until he was done with his shift so he dug deep into his own pocket and gave the little man some frozen custard.
Travis never would’ve thought that the story could go further than the restaurant. He was just happy that he was able to make that little child happy on this particular day but a surprise was coming. The boy and his mother were leaving the restaurant and the child then slipped a note to Travis that left him perplexed. You can see how this one act of kindness turns into something that he never would’ve expected.
