One of the most sentimental moments of any wedding (aside from the kiss) is the traditional first dance between newlyweds. This tradition seems to symbolize something special between two people taking the first steps on their journey together through life. Most couple’s dances are your standard slow dances, usually set to the couple’s favorite love song. But, as necessary as these dances are, most guests would probably have a hard time recalling anything special about them. However, there are those couples out there that desire to do something more original. These folks may take up a dance class together or hire the services of a dance choreographer to assist them in crafting a one-of-a-kind routine for their wedding. And then some have precise dance routines they would like to recreate on the dance floor. One trendy dance routine is from a Hollywood classic released over 30 years ago called “Dirty Dancing.”
The movie features the late Patrick Swayzee and his co-star Jennifer Grey. And there is one part during one of their dance scenes that instantly comes to the mind of any fan. That’s when Swayzee’s character holds up Grey high into the air above his head. Whenever someone attempts this highly advanced dance routine, folks expect to see this one big move. And once Ada and Mateusz took care of all that “I do” business, they took to the floor to show off their own version of the “Dirty Dancing” routine. Ada looked stunning in her white knee-length, sleeveless dress as she patiently waited in the middle of the dance floor for her handsome husband. As for Mateusz, he strode confidently onto the dance floor, wearing black pants and a stylish black button-down polo shirt. The electricity was building.
As the couple started the routine, their guests began to surround the dance floor; they had a good idea that they were in for something special. And, to say that the couple delivered is the understatement of the year. The guests all shared the same delighted smiles and looks of awe as they watch these newlyweds heat up the dance floor.

Then, towards the end of the routine came the moment everyone wanted to see. Would Mateusz lift Ada over his head?
Well, they answered that question in a big way.

“Oh my God, that was so amazing…perfect dance and the lift was just amazing… IF I EVER GET MARRIED I WANT THIS TOO! I WON’T ACCEPT ANYTHING ELSE,” Chaos Queen gushed.
Another person said:
“They look so happy…This is a beautiful video [and] have watched it many times. I wish them the best of everything,” Sally Patterson said.

There were even some fans who made the bold pronouncement that Ada and Mateusz’s routine was better than even the movie’s version.
“Excellent – more enjoyable than the original in my opinion. Happy Anniversary you two. Hope married life together is as good as your dancing together,” Ivy Murphy shared.

And of course, people talked about the big lift and how the couple absolutely nailed it.
“I must have watched this movie 100 times and the lift ALWAYS gives me chills. This couple nailed it perfectly. Outstanding performance,” Barbara Lenox said.
There were even a few ladies who noted how they would like to find future husbands who have Mateusz’s superior dance skills.
“I hope my future Husband can dance like this!” Lara Viole declared.

As for Ada and Mateusz, there were a lot of folks who could swear these two must have been professional dancers because their performance seemed too flawless to be the work of amateurs not dancing for a living.
However, others mentioned how Polish weddings have a tradition of having special dance performances from newlywed couples.
“The wedding couples nowadays pay huge attention to the first dance and they always try to prepare something unforgettable both for them and for the guests. A very common thing is to even attend special dance classes,” Dagi and Rafa wrote on their website, Partners on the Road.

Nevertheless, it’s plain to see that these two absolutely owned the dance floor and gave their guests something they will rave about for years to come.
