We sometimes hear about people who make changes to their bodies to the extreme. Some of them do it in order to improve their health and others, to improve their looks. There is no doubt that the body standards that we see thrust in front of us on a daily basis have many women wondering how they could never measure up to those standards. Andrea Ivanova is 22 years old and lives in Bulgaria. She has made many changes to her looks, some permanent and some temporary that have made her look somewhat like a Barbie doll. In fact, she has been referred to as a real-life Barbie, and those changes can be drastic. Perhaps one of the most drastic changes that she has made is going through her 20th round of lip filler injections. To put it plainly, her lips are enormous but the strange thing is, she loves it and she doesn’t have any plans on stopping.

According to The Sun, an injection runs about $167. Ivanova continues to shell out that money time after time ever since she started getting the hydrologic acid lip injections in 2018. She shared a picture after the latest injection, saying: “I had my latest injection two days ago. I feel great to have even more but some doctors think it’s enough, though I still want them bigger. My doctor said he will do more injections for me but said I have to wait for at least two months. I like my new lips a lot.”

The Daily Mail reports that she did have a few struggles during the first days after getting the last injection. “It was hard to eat after the injection, and two to three days after the procedure gets more difficult. I think my lips are lovely, I love them. I am not sure if they are the biggest lips in the world but they are one of the biggest, I think.” Ivanova is insistent that she will continue doing what she can to get more procedures. 38,000 followers on Instagram are egging her on, some of them saying that “bigger is better”. Her lips are now quadruple the size that they were at one time, all so that she can be “more fashionable.”

“I have visited almost all clinics for aesthetic procedures in Sofia, Bulgaria, and I put in my lips almost all kinds of lips fillers.” Ivanova continues, “I get thousands of compliments on my lips and on my outfit, and on my vision and style every day from people all over the world. I have both positive and negative comments, but women write most of the negative comments.” She remains unfazed by what others think of her oversized lips because she is happy with the choices she’s made. “There are people who like me with bigger lips and there are people who like me with smaller lips but it doesn’t matter to me, because it’s important for me, how I like it,” she said.

“Other people’s opinion is irrelevant. I can’t give any indication of how big is too big, or can lips be too big, because for each person, “big”, “bigger” and “too big” are different concepts. I’m broadminded and I think people should be free to choose, which one is for them big, bigger or too big. There are no boundaries for me.” She was asked if she wanted the biggest lips in the world and she said, “Yes, why not? In my country the big lips are fashionable and there are many girls with fillers in the lips too.”
