Online dating can be a nightmare. Before this form of dating, people used to have to go out to meet people who lived in their area physically. While the low-minded motives of many men haven’t changed since the beginning of humankind, there was at least an opportunity for women to decern dishonest men through face-to-face interactions. Today, men can craft identities and personalities much easier online, leading to many disastrous first dates, relationships, and even marriages.
But, there are times when these deceivers slip up, giving unsuspecting women a rare opportunity to escape their web of lies before it’s too late. Such was the case for a TikToker named Samantha Rose.
Meet Samantha

Samantha is a hard-working young professional who works as a public relations and social media coordinator. Due to her work, she’s incredibly active on social media.

She also has fostered a few small babies and loves sharing details about her journey on her Instagram. Fostering is something Samantha’s very proud of.
Her Upcoming Date With Jake

Samantha also uses dating apps and recently shared a screenshot of a text message from a man she met online who called himself Jake.
Jake was very complimentary throughout their online courtship and talked about how much he was looking forward to their forthcoming date night.
Jake Describes Her as “A Solid 4”

While texting Samantha, Jake makes a classic mistake and slips up. He accidentally sends Sammatha a text message in which he describes her as a “solid 4.”
He also calls her an “easy lay,” which he can rely on during “desperate times.”
Having realized his mistake, Jake tries to recover by claiming he wasn’t talking about her but rather another girl.
Samantha Turns On Ghost Mode

The young woman felt no need to respond to his text because she had enough self-respect to know that this person did not deserve any more of her time.
Obviously, this wasn’t the man Samantha thought he was, and she was just going to cut her losses. But not before making a hilarious TikTok video about her experience.
Jake Responds to Samantha’s Video

The day after making her TikTok video, Jake sent her more messages and was not very happy.
He described her as being crazy, accusing Samantha of fostering “broken” kids because she could not land a man. He also changed his explanation, calling the whole thing a “joke.”
Jake Accuses Samantha of Being a Catfish

Jake decided to switch to another tactic by accusing her of being a catfish since she looks different in her TikTok videos and on her Instagram.

It’s all downhill from there as Jake descends into madness.
He begins calling her fat and questions whether or not she carries a chronic disease that causes her “weight problem.” He also mentions again how she’s not able to take a joke.

Ironically, Samantha believes Jake is the true catfish and might be someone else she talked to online earlier.
Shortly after her misadventure with Jake, she matched with another person on Bumble who said they’d spoken before. She asked him to send her a text to prove this was the case.
Previous Conversations Were Missing

While he did have her number, their previous discussions were oddly blank.
This was strange because Samantha never deletes conversations. In fact, she keeps them for several years. She believed that they’d never spoken before.

Samantha was getting creepy vibes and decided it might be best to ghost this person as well. However, just like Jake, it seems he needed to have the last word.
Soon she started noticing a trend that reminded her a lot of Jake in how this new person spoke to her.

After Samantha informed him that she did not care why they stopped talking and did not wish to ever speak with him again.
This was when he resorted to calling her “chubby,” which Jake used a similar tactic. The person also shared Jake’s horrible spelling habits.
Others Had Bad Experiences With Him

Folks started sending Samatha messages from who they believed was the same man Samantha had been talking to.
They mentioned how he was crazy and some related horror stories about other girls who got involved with him.[1]

Another person messaged Samantha and told her that “Jake” likes to do this whenever he’s rejected and has done so to many girls.[2
While Samantha may never prove 100 percent that this man and Jake are the same people, she’s convinced by now that they are.
