There are certain things that I believe all of us appreciate about the holidays. For some families, it might be decorating the Christmas tree and for others, it could be singing Christmas carols or perhaps doing some Christmas shopping. Although everybody has something that is their favorite, most people appreciate some nostalgic television shows and movies that are typically only shown around that time of the year. One of those is the iconic movie: ‘Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’. It seems as though people have some complaints about that movie.
First of all, many people are upset about the fact that it shows some blatant bullying of Rudolph. Even Rudolph’s father was willing to hide his nose because of what other people may think and say when they see it. There is something else that is rather alarming about the movie and most people tend to overlook it. It happens during the closing credits and it’s actually a murder scene. It happens while the credits are rolling and a little elf pops out of a bag with some misfit toys. One of those is pushed to is probable death.
Most people look at the scene as being innocent and they really don’t give it much thought. When you stop to notice what is actually happening, you can see why it is a trending topic on social media. This is a bird that couldn’t fly, although he was able to swim. The elf was throwing toys off of the back of the sleigh, giving each of them an umbrella but he simply pushes the owl out of the back without a parachute.
I doubt that this is going to have an impact on how many people watch Rudolph the reindeer but it’s just something else that people tend to argue about these days. You can see the scene for yourself below and you’ll probably watch for it every year when you watch the movie at home.
