One of the most exciting times in a person’s life is when they are pregnant. From the moment that they discover the baby is going to be born, it seems as if their entire world changes. It is nine months full of anticipation, appreciation and sometimes, setbacks. Even though it is something that is very exciting, it can also be frustrating in some cases. It seems as if everything that is taking place during that time is going to affect the parents from that moment forward.
During the nine months of pregnancy, the baby is continually growing. If there is any type of interruption in the development of the fetus during that time, it can result in a number of problems. The issue is, unless we are constantly monitored through ultrasound, we can’t really see what is taking place inside of the womb. It can lead to anxiety and unfortunately, there are times when joy is replaced with grief. We never really are sure what to expect until we have a healthy baby in our arms.
So many things can happen during pregnancy that it really boggles the mind. Following the development of the child is a wonderful thing for any expectant parent, provided the pregnancy is progressing in a fine manner. There are times when nature seems to go off course and problems can occur that are less than desirable.
At times, genetic defects may be to blame it at other times, it could be a problem with diseases. There are also times when something as simple as a knot may be the problem. Inside of the uterus, the baby is connected to the mother with the umbilical cord. The child gets all of the nutrients that they need and they dispose of waste. It helps them to grow properly.
If the child is moving a lot inside of the womb, it can disturb the umbilical cord. It may wrap around the baby and unfortunately, it can cause some serious problems. There are also times when the umbilical cord is tied in a knot.
If you do any research, you will find a lot of horror stories about such an event but sometimes, it doesn’t go all that bad. That is what happened when a user shared a picture from a 2015 birth of their child online.
The father was absolutely thrilled when the newborn baby appeared. He saw that the baby was breathing and healthy.
When the doctor looked down, however, he saw something that shocked everyone. The umbilical cord was tied in a perfect knot. This worried everyone at first but there was nothing wrong with the baby.
“Hurry up dad, take a picture your baby is a miracle,” the doctor said to the dad.
You have to agree with the doctor when you see the pictures. It’s amazing that this baby survived but we are so happy for the family that he did.
