We have seen many amazing performers over the years, from Elvis Presley to Freddie Mercury and, at times, we may forget some of the amazing performances that we’ve seen. After all, singers tend to come and go and they may be around for only a short amount of time before they fade off in history. Other performers, however, are not only here for the short term but they just continue to get better, each and every time we hear them. I think that that is our experience when we hear Ed Sheeran singing. After he got his start in 2011, he started putting out records that all did amazing and I don’t think that he has ever looked back since. It just seems as if his music gets better every year.
Ed Sheeran is certainly capable of putting out music in the studio and he often does. We are thrilled when we hear one of his new songs, but we also love it when we see one of his songs in an online video. That is what you will see below, when he does an acoustic version of ‘Afire Love’ live. It’s a rather interesting performance that comes out of the studio but, as you can tell, Ed Sheeran really doesn’t need any help to make his music great. His voice is flawless, and it seems as if he is able to sing without having to back up and redo the music, just so it plays on the radio. When you see one of his live performances, it’s almost as if you are seeing him perform for the first time.
It wasn’t all that many years ago that Ed Sheeran was basically unknown. He would play on the streets of London and in the tube for anyone who would listen. After he signed with Asylum records, he really took off with his career and today, he is known around the world for the music he puts out.
It’s hard to believe that Ed Sheeran has really been famous for less than a decade. In that short amount of time, he has managed to amass millions of fans from around the world. It will be interesting to see where he goes from here.
