When you see something out of the ordinary, you really have two choices to make. You can either choose to do something about it or you can stay on the sidelines and hope that your intuition is wrong.
This isn’t always something that should just be given a brief overview. At times, something you see may actually be a life or death situation for someone else.
Of course, there are times when we may not necessarily step into the middle of the situation out of concern for our own safety or the safety of our family. For one particular gas station attendant, however, the decision to step in and help was a no-brainer.
It happened when a man and woman walked into the gas station. A man by the name of Manveer Komer was working and he immediately recognized that something was wrong.
He looked over and saw them trying to draw cash out of an ATM. When they weren’t able to do it, they walked up to the counter and tried to use her credit card to buy cigarettes.
Manveer knew that something was wrong and he could see in the woman’s eyes that she was terrified. She was nervous and trembling and he decided that he would do something about it.
As they left for the outside, he stopped her from walking through the door and told her to get behind him. He then went outside and faced the man, who was actually someone that carjacked the woman earlier that day.
It seems as if the woman had been driven around the city all day long trying to take money out of the ATM. This was just another stop, but it turned out to be one that worked well for her.
The abductor pretended like he had a gun but when the gas station attendant didn’t move, he took off in the car. Fortunately, he was caught a short time later because he was using the woman’s phone.
