James Blunt Sings His Grammy Award Nominated Song ‘You’re Beautiful’

Even though there are many people who would be considered talented singers, there are a few that come our way on occasion that take us by surprise. These are the singers that do more than simply entertain us, they provide us with an opportunity to have a song in our mind and something in our heart. That was the case with James Blunt, and when he got his start in 2004 with the album, ‘Back to Bedlam’, it was as if he was someone we were waiting for our entire lives. It was on that album that he reached fame, not only because of his voice but because of a song that still continues to play on the radio, some 16 years later.

The song, ‘You’re Beautiful’ is one that most of us are able to sing along with when we hear it playing. It also is somewhat inspirational, and it’s a great song to sing when you have someone you truly appreciate in your life. Although most of us would probably apply the words and emotions to our significant other, we also have many people who are beautiful to us for a variety of reasons. Regardless of what you think of when you hear the song, it is one that continues to thrill people when they hear it on the radio but there is nothing quite like seeing and hearing James Blunt performing it live.

In the video that you see below, James Blunt is live for the 2013 Nobel Peace event and he is performing this song, along with ‘Bonfire Heart’. The combination of those songs is something that the audience will hold onto for many years to come.

James Blunt may be a famous singer but before he became famous, he was a member of the NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo. We’re thankful that he took his music seriously, because we all have songs now that we treasure from him.
