If you were to ask many women, there are some who would likely admit that they had some facial hair and others who would probably not admit it, although they do. The fact is, many of those women will spend a lot of time trying to remain smooth and hairless. It might require shaving or perhaps waxing, and many different parts of their body may be involved. In many cases, some of the hair that is removed from the body is from areas that are not typically seen, such as the legs and the armpits. There also times when women may have facial hair as well.
If you really stop to think about it, women having hair is natural because they are born that way. That being said, you might also wonder why women go to this much trouble in order to remove their facial hair. For some women, it’s the fact that they want to feel smooth but for others, it is because they feel as if it is important because that’s the way society feels on the matter. Every once in a while, you hear about somebody who comes up against the system, and that is the case with 29-year-old Harnaam Kaur.
We live in a time in which people want to stand for something. For some, they become so passionate about making a statement that it borders on the ridiculous. A recent health awareness campaign called “We Can Face It” is now coming forward to change the way that people think about women with facial hair. They want to make it acceptable.
Harnaam Kaur is a woman who is a life coach, Instagram celebrity and a model. She feels that women should be able to break free of the expectations of society, so when she found herself growing hair on her face, arms, and chest, she decided to embrace it. It’s due to a condition known as polycystic ovary syndrome, but now she is taking part in a campaign. She also received a nod in the Guinness world records as the youngest female to achieve a full beard. You can see more in the video below:
