The talent shows that we see on television are absolutely phenomenal. It introduces us to people that are not only famous, they have the ability to entertain us in ways that we had never even thought possible. I realize that there are a lot of celebrities in the world and they have a lot to offer us in general. When we get to see these ‘ordinary people’ who get their five minutes of fame, however, it’s often something that takes us by surprise. It ranges from little kids who can sing and dance to older people, who have been talented their entire life. Without those shows, we never would have had the opportunity to see them.
One of the more popular shows is the ‘Got Talent’ Shows that are seen around the world. We are perhaps familiar with the one in the United States or the UK, but they even have one for Thailand! That is what we are watching below, and although there may be somewhat of a language barrier for us, we absolutely know what is going on. It all happens when somebody who imitates Mr. Bean comes out on the stage and does an amazing job of dancing to Mr. Boombastic! It’s a lot of fun to watch, and he does an excellent job. It’s obvious that the judges are enthralled with what they are seeing and for a good reason.
Something that we really appreciate about this video is the fact that they all know who Mr. Bean was from the moment that he comes out on the stage. They may not be speaking our language, but they certainly understand the humor of Mr. Bean very clearly.
They sometimes say that imitation is the highest form of flattery, and I would say that this man was doing an excellent job of imitating Mr. Bean. It’s loads of fun to watch in any language! Enjoy it below.
