We all need to get out on occasion, even though we are dealing with a pandemic. Perhaps the most beneficial thing we can do is go for a walk, but there are times when a pleasant walk could turn deadly.
That is what happened in Alabama, when a mother of four was out for a walk in her community and a pack of dogs attacked and killed her.
Authorities report that Ruthie Brown, a 36-year-old mother of four sons was mauled on Monday afternoon by the animals on Jagger Road in Nauvoo. By the time the officers got on scene, the mother was already dead according to the Wake County Sheriff’s office.
According to authorities, some of the dogs have been found and seized. What is not known at this time is the specific breeds of dogs that were involved in the mauling or if anyone will be up on charges as a result of the attack.
An investigation is underway as police from the Sheriff’s office are asking neighbors about other attacks by dogs that may have taken place in the community.
