Woman Paints Eyes On Rocks, Then Returns Them To The Wild To Be Found By Someone Else Or Lost Forever

Have you ever wanted to go to an archaeological dig? It just seems amazing to be able to see something that has been hidden from human eyes for hundreds or perhaps even thousands of years. One resident of Queenstown, Tasmania managed to have an idea that would put her on the map in a most unusual way. She would collect rocks, paint eyes onto them and then put them back into the landscape, perhaps even forever.

Queenstown is known for its mining history and there were many unusual rocks, regardless of where you looked. She started to look at those rocks in a way that only an artist could do so. After collecting a lot of the rocks she started to grow into a new idea that would be more of a treasure hunt for the local community. Even though it was provided for the community at first, it now has worldwide attention.

It takes a definite level of skill to be able to do this in the first place. In addition, only a creative mind would come up with an idea that was this brilliant. You can learn more about her on her website and see many of her pictures below.
