Steven Tyler ‘Goes Into Recovery’ For An Incredible Unplugged Version Of ‘Amazing’

When you think of Stephen Tyler, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? If you happen to be a headbanger from years ago, you might think about the time that he was the lead singer for the rock band, Arrowsmith. It’s kind of hard to ignore the fact that he was such an amazing singer at the time with some powerhouse songs, many of which continue to play on the radio down to this day. Arrowsmith also had some newer songs that are enhancing our radio listening as well. Of course, those of us who really follow Stephen Tyler realize that he is more than just a singer, he is a great person that isn’t afraid to step outside of his comfort zone to do something wonderful.

Over the years, we have seen Stephen Tyler in a number of online videos where he is surprising people with some performances that crop up out of the blue. It includes everything from’s singing with a street busker to singing for a girl that was behind him on an airplane. In the video that you see below, he is proving yet again that he is someone who has other people on his mind. He visited the Recovery Unplugged Drug Treatment Center in order to give a performance and to speak to everyone who was going through treatment at the time. He ended up putting on an unplugged performance of “Amazing”, and we are so happy we get to hear it in this video.

It’s interesting to think that Stephen Tyler is in his late 60s and he is still singing as if he were standing on the stage in front of thousands of screaming fans. In fact, if you put him back on the stage today, I’m sure that is exactly what would happen.

Some celebrities will hide away and try their best to avoid interacting with the general population. Stephen Tyler, or the other hand, is somebody who isn’t afraid to do something nice for others and he even is capable of a surprise here and there.
