Over the years, there have been many talented singers that have shown themselves to society. Some may be hidden out of sight, performing at home or perhaps only in a local venue. Others take the show on the road and they may end up becoming a superstar in the process. That is the case with Ed Sheeran, who has an incredible amount of talent and shows it to the world through his music. He can sing, play the guitar and mix his music in ways that most of us could only ever imagine doing. The funny thing is, he even sounds better when he is in concert or performing live then he does in the studio! He also isn’t afraid to share the spotlight.
If you look at Ed Sheeran and his career, you will recognize that it really hasn’t been around for all that long. You can look at some old videos on YouTube of Ed Sheeran performing on the street corners and in the subway, trying to get recognized. He certainly did get recognized and today, he is performing for audiences that number in the thousands and he has millions of fans around the world. He also tends to give a surprise or two every once in a while, and that is the case when he brought Stormzy into the studio for a rather interesting session. They performed the remakes of “Shape of You” and it is perhaps one of the most interesting things we’ve heard in quite some time.
Stormzy may not be the first person that you would put on stage with Ed Sheeran and you may wonder how the two of them could ever mix with each other. They actually do quite well together, and we are thankful that they captured this moment on video so that we could enjoy it over and over again.
Music is always going to have a very powerful effect over us and sometimes, we might find that we are revisiting music and the songs that have meant so much to us. This song and the rendition that was performed in this video is sure to be one of those.
