The Rock Brings Us To Tears When He Gives A Vet His Custom Truck

When most of us think about celebrities, we think about somebody who is rather standoffish and tends to keep to themselves. As we are about to see, however, that isn’t always the case.

More than likely, you are familiar with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. He is one of the more popular actors and has been playing a lot of movies recently.

You would think that he would stick to himself because of his celebrity status but as it turns out, he does some really kind things for others. After they are shared on social media, people just find a reason to love him even more.

This recently happened when he did something and posted it to his Instagram account. He met up with a U.S. Navy veteran named Oscar Rodriguez. He was a man who was well-known in the community as being a kind and upstanding individual.

Oscar got an invitation to the screening of his new movie but he also got something else. A brand-new truck. It was given to him as a gift with the note that said “Thank you for your service brother.”

When Rodriguez read the note, he fell to his knees and began crying. He then stood up and gave a big bear hug to the actor, who was all too happy to accept it.

At first, he tried to give away the car that he drove in the movie but when he was turned down, he said that he would give away his custom truck. He got a lot of information about the people who were at the screening but it was Oscar’s story that moved him.

Perhaps he summed it up best when he said: “Oscar said it right, just before he drove away; it’s just love. That’s all it is, brother. Just love.”
