I think that all of us get annoyed from time to time. It’s human nature, but we do our best to try and restrain ourselves.
Perhaps that is why we find it so shocking when somebody doesn’t stop themselves from going over that edge. That is what happened recently in Thailand when a woman cut the support rope used by two painters outside of her window.
It started when painters had lowered themselves from the 32nd floor of a high-rise building. They were going to repair a crack in the side of the building but things didn’t turn out as they had hoped.
When the worker reached the 30th floor, he felt as if the rope had gotten heavier. As it turns out, a woman who lives on the 26th floor had reached out and cut the rope of one of the workers.
According to the media, she was irritated because it seemed as if somebody was outside of her room. There was an announcement that they would be working outside but she didn’t see it.
Although she claims that her intention was not to kill the worker, she is being charged with attempted murder and property destruction. When she went to court, the 34-year-old woman denied the fact that she was responsible. After being shown that she was caught because of the fingerprints and DNA analysis, she changed her story.
Fortunately, the workers were saved by someone else who lives in the building. Thanks to their actions and to the fact that he didn’t lose his cool, he is alive today.
