When it comes to genetics, things get pretty complicated. For example, I got my mom’s eyes and my dad’s skin tone. However, there are also things about me that didn’t come from either parent, so it’s a mystery as to how I got them. When it comes to adoption, it can be even more challenging to figure out which traits you inherited from your biological parents. Adopted people tend to want to know more about their biological family because everyone wants to know who they come from and what they’re made of. And everyone has the right to know that, too.
